Shipping Guns for Service
Follow these steps to send your firearm to us for service, customization, or repair safely and efficiently.
Contact Us First
Call or email us to confirm that we’re accepting new work and to get the anticipated turnaround time for your project. If you had just submitted a Gunsmithing or Custom Beretta form, please print the work order that had been emailed to you and continue to the next step.
Pack Your Firearm
Ensure the firearm is completely unloaded. Wrap it generously in bubble wrap. Include a printed work order form with the specific work you’d like performed (selected from the menu or detailed in the Notes box).
Place the firearm and paperwork in a suitably sized box and tape it securely.
Important: Do not send cases or any accessories that are not required for the work. Packaging will not be returned.
Shipping Options
You are welcome to ship the firearm yourself. We have a relationship with FedEx and can provide a discounted shipping label if you’d prefer.
To request a label, email gbsales@alleghenyarms.com with:
- Item(s) being shipped
- Box dimensions
- Package weight
- Your full name, address, & phone number
We’ll email you the label and add the cost of shipping to your final invoice.
Drop Off or Schedule Pickup
Drop the package at any convenient FedEx location, or call 1-800-GO-FEDEX to schedule a pickup.
Keep the tracking number so you can verify delivery. Once tracking shows it has been delivered, we have it. We will only contact you if there is an issue with the delivery.
Please do not call to verify receipt. The more time we’re on the phone, the less time we have to work on yours and everyone else’s guns.
Return Shipping
Your firearm must be returned to the address it was originally shipped from. If that is not possible, please let us know as soon as possible so we can make other arrangements. In those cases we will only ship the firearm to an FFL.
